F5 Networks Q4 Profit Rises

(RTTNews) - F5 Networks Inc. (FFIV) Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $76.2 million or $0.97 per share, up from $67.7 million or $0.85 per share last year.

Adjusted earnings for the quarter were $1.26 per share, up from $1.12 per share last year. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $1.19 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Net revenues for the quarter rose to $395.3 million from $362.6 million last year. Analysts estimated revenues of $384.66 million for the quarter.

Looking forward to the first quarter, the company expects earnings of $0.81 to $0.84 per share, adjusted earnings of $1.17 to $1.20 per share and revenues of $390 million to $400 million. Analyst currently estimate earnings of $1.20 per share and revenues of $389.58 million.
