Evolving Systems Gets Fourth Patent For Dynamic SIM Allocation Technology

(RTTNews) - Evolving Systems, Inc.(EVOL), Monday said it has been granted a further US patent for its Dynamic SIM Allocation or DSA solution. This is the fourth patent granted for this technology, the company said. This patent covers the use of the technology to grant repeated, temporary connections to classes of devices used in machine-to-machine applications, recycling resources such as telephone numbers or MSISDNs.

DSA allows just-in-time provisioning of SIM cards, activating them only when they are first used in the network and eliminating the unnecessary costs incurred when pre-provisioning.
