EVERTEC CFO Román Jiménez Leaving; Peter Smith Named Successor

(RTTNews) - EVERTEC, Inc. (EVTC) said Thursday that Chief Financial Officer Juan José Román Jiménez will be leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.

Peter Smith will join the company as its new Chief Financial Officer on September 1.

Smith most recently served as Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Senior Vice President of Fidelity National Information Services, Inc.

The company also said that operations and Information Technology will be re-organized to decentralize IT services so that customer support will report directly to the key business leaders. IT areas such as Data Security, Compliance and Vendor Management will be centralized under Phil Steurer, Chief Operating Officer.

Eduardo Camargo, Chief Information Officer, will be leaving the company to pursue other opportunities, the company said.
