E*Trade Financial Corp. Bottom Line Climbs 14% In Q4

(RTTNews) - E*Trade Financial Corp. (ETFC) announced earnings for its fourth quarter that advanced from last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $89 million, or $0.30 per share. This was up from $78 million, or $0.26 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.30 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 1.5% to $454 million. This was down from $461 million last year.
