Essilor Closes Acquisition Of Coastal Contacts

(RTTNews) - Coastal Contacts Inc (COA.TO) (COA), an online retailer of vision care products, Monday announced the completion of the plan of arrangement under which ophthalmic optics giant Essilor International (Compagnie Générale d'Optique), S.A. has indirectly acquired all of the shares of Coastal.com for C$12.45 per share.

With the completion of the deal, Coastal.com's common shares are expected to cease trading and be delisted from the Toronto Stock Exchange following the close of trading on May 1.

Coastal.com's shares will be suspended from trading on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange following the close of trading on April 28.
