Erikli Call Centre Increases Efficiency, Customer Satisfaction with Nortel Solutions

Erikli Su ve Mesrubat (Erikli), a Turkish internationalwater supply company, has lowered costs and increased customersatisfaction by improving the efficiency of its call centreorganisation with voice and data solutions from Nortel (NYSE:NT)(TSX:NT).

"Critical components of Erikli's operations now rely on Nortel'svoice and data solutions, which have delivered significant businessadvantages such as increased customer satisfaction very quickly," saidNihal Topaloglu, IT manager, Erikli. "Our recent network upgradeprovided a secure, reliable and fast communication system thatimproved the speed and efficiency of our service to customers whileboosting employee productivity by integrating the operations of allcontact centres so they work as one rather than separate centres."

Erikli's new contact centre infrastructure is centralized at themain contact centre in Bursa, which is closely interconnected with allregional contact centres throughout the country to ensure waitingtimes are decreased and customers' requests are handled quickly. Thecapabilities of Erikli's contact centres, which handle an average of1,000 calls per day, have been expanded from only processing customercomplaints and recommendations to taking orders as well.

The deployment was carried out jointly by Nortel's subsidiary inTurkey, Nortel Netas, and solution partners Netser and Netses, whichare supplying ongoing local support services.

"The success of the Erikli deployment is one more example of howNortel continues to apply its global expertise in designing anddeploying networks that specifically meet the unique needs of eachcustomer," said Selda Parin, enterprise solutions sales manager,Nortel Netas. "Erikli does again count on Nortel technology to expandand update its existing contact centre."

Erikli also recently deployed Nortel's IP enabled Meridian 1OPT-11C PBX, Business Communication Manager (BCM), Nortel VPN Routers1700 and 251, Ethernet Routing Switches 5510 and Ethernet Switches425-24 T. In addition, Erikli renewed its wireless LAN infrastructurewith Nortel WLAN 2220 access points.

Erikli plans to expand its contact centre infrastructure acrossthe country with another main site in Istanbul, similar to the Bursacontact centre, followed by Ankara and Izmir. Erikli's contact centreswill be equipped with Nortel's speech and Interactive Voice Response(IVR) solutions.
