Equity Residential Q4 Earnings Rise 8%

(RTTNews) - Equity Residential (EQR) released a profit for its fourth quarter that rose compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $353.05 million, or $0.93 per share. This was up from $325.71 million, or $0.86 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.92 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 5.8% to $703.19 million. This was up from $664.66 million last year.
