Equity Residential Earnings Rise 10% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Equity Residential (EQR) revealed a profit for its third quarter that rose compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $340.49 million, or $0.89 per share. This was up from $309.20 million, or $0.82 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.88 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 4.9% to $696.29 million. This was up from $664.08 million last year.
