Equity Residential Bottom Line Falls 3% In Q1
(RTTNews) - Equity Residential (EQR) revealed earnings for first quarter that decreased from last year.
The company said its earnings dropped to $289.48 million, or $0.76 per share. This was lower than $299.00 million, or $0.79 per share, in last year's first quarter.
Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.73 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company said revenue for the quarter fell 7.1% to $619.08 million. This was down from $666.37 million last year.
