Valentin Chapero proposed as new member of Goldbach Group Board of Directors

Küsnacht-Zurich, May, 20th 2015. The Goldbach Group Board of Directors will propose the election of Valentin Chapero to the Board of Directors at an extraordinary General Meeting. He will succeed Michael Scheeren, who will step down from the Board at the General Meeting.

Valentin Chapero is a co-founder and partner of Veraison Capital AG, which announced on April 13th, 2015 that it had purchased via VERAISON SICAV Engagement Fund 16.287% of the Goldbach Group's share capital. In particular, Veraison acquired the shares held by United Internet Ventures AG, thereby making it the second-largest shareholder of the Goldbach Group.

The Board of Directors is convinced that Chapero's entrepreneurial character will strengthen the Board and make a key contribution to the successful implementation of the Goldbach Group's strategy. For this reason, the Board will ask its shareholders to approve the election of Valentin Chapero as the successor of Michael Scheeren.

Jens Alder, chairman of the Goldbach Group Board of Directors, is pleased with the nomination of Valentin Chapero and would like to thank Michael Scheeren for the valuable services that he provided to the Group in previous years.

The extraordinary General Meeting will take place on June 25th, 2015 at the corporate headquarters in Küsnacht-Goldbach, Switzerland.
