Energy Transfer Partners Q2 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Energy Transfer Partners L.P. (ETP) reported second quarter net income attributable to partners of $471 million or $0.92 per limited partner unit, higher than the $320 million or $0.53 per unit a year ago.

Income from continuing operations climbed to $539 million form $404 million in the previous year. Income from continuing operations per limited partner unit was $0.79 versus $0.52 per unit in the prior year.

On average, 12 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.64 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Adjusted EBITDA grew to $1.17 billion from $1.07 billion over the same period last year.

Distributable Cash Flow attributable to the partners of ETP totaled $538 million, an increase from $483 million last year.

Revenues increased to $13.03 billion from $11.55 billion a year ago. Analysts expected revenue of $11.99 billion for the quarter.
