Embraer Q3 Profit Falls - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Brazilian commercial aircraft maker Embraer SA (ERJ) Thursday posted a lower third-quarter net income, with decrease in revenues.

Net income attributable to Embraer Shareholders was $52.9 million, compared with $65.4 million last year. On a per share basis, earnings were $0.2885 per American Depositary Share or ADS, compared with $0.3594 per ADS a year ago.

Adjusted net income was $35.8 million, compared with $70.9 a year earlier. On average, thirteen analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings per share of $0.48 the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

Revenues declined to $1.28 billion, from prior year's $1.40 billion. Analysts expected the company to generate revenues of $1.37 billion for the quarter.
