Electronics For Imaging Buys Metrix Software; Terms Not Disclosed
(RTTNews) - Electronics For Imaging, Inc. (EFII) late Wednesday announced that it has acquired Metrix Software, a provider of automated print planning and imposition technology. The company did not reveal the financial terms of the acquisition.
The provider of products, technology and services leading the transformation of analog to digital imaging said the acquisition is not expected to be material to its fourth quarter or full-year 2013 results.

According to Holt, EFI is the leader in print production workflow, and its worldwide customer base will benefit enormously from the new level of integration with EFI's products.
Electronics shares closed Wednesday's trading at $33.29, up $0.10 or 0.30 percent.
