Electro Power Systems and the International Civil Defence Organisation Collaborate on Global Green off-Grid Programs for Access to Electricity in Emergency Situations
Regulatory News:
Not for distribution, directly or indirectly, in the United States of America, Canada, Australia and Japan.
Electro Power Systems (Paris:EPS), the forerunner in smart hydrogen-based systems for energy storage, is proud to announce it has entered into a major global collaboration program with the International Civil Defence Organisation (ICDO) to develop access to green electricity in emergency situations in the framework of the ICDO program of assistance for the development of national Civil Protection.
Electro Power Systems’ CEO, Carlalberto Guglielminotti, declared: "Electro Power Systems is very proud to partner with the International Civil Defence Organisation, an organisation with international prestige and ambitious missions to protect the populations, property, and the environment.
EPS and the ICDO are exploring together the best possible clean technology solutions available to guarantee the ICDO humanitarian programs with remote access to green micro power generation in emergency situations such as earthquakes, draughts, floods, storms, forest fires, landslides and avalanches. EPS is convinced its technological expertise can contribute to the wonderful opportunity to provide the best possible solution throughout the world. EPS is honoured to be part of such important programs.”
A joint mission to serve people in emergency situations
The ICDO’s core mission is to develop the national defence structures of its Member States and to encourage cooperation and mutual solidarity between them. As part of its global mission, and in particular its program of assistance in the development of national civil protection structures of its Member States, the ICDO has implemented since 2002 a Program of Donation of Equipment and Materials to facilitate resolving major issues, such as access to electrical continuity in emergency situations such as earthquakes, draughts, floods, storms, forest fires, landslides and avalanches. In this respect, EPS off-grid technological solution can play a major role in addressing continuity issues globally with a clean solution.
Both EPS and the ICDO are now collaborating to identify and verify the best possible solutions to address the needs that arise during emergency situations and guarantee continuity to the humanitarian programs managed by ICDO.

About Electro Power Systems
Electro Power Systems (EPS) is a forerunner in smart hydrogen-based systems for energy storage. EPS offers the market’s most accessible and cleanest solutions through its self-recharging technology vertically integrated into an open architecture. The solutions developed by EPS are coupled with the traditional ICT and electric grid and enable intelligent, scalable and sustainable distributed generation and energy management. EPS’ systems storage capacity (10kWh up to 100 MWh) is a response to Energy Transition related-issues ranging from the auxiliary power supply (backup for telecom towers and data centers) to solutions for supporting the electricity grid for transmission and distribution (smart grids and renewables’ integration) and finally to leverage a distributed generation model with a full off-grid infrastructure.
