Eclipse Resources Q2 Loss Widens

(RTTNews) - Oil and gas company Eclipse Resources Corp (ECR) posted second quarter net loss of $112.6 million, wider than $5.7 million in the comparable quarter last year. Loss per share for the latest second quarter was $0.84.

Adjusted net loss for the latest second quarter was $10.4 million, or $0.08 per share.

Loss from operations widened to $7.2 million from $5.2 million last year.

Total operating revenues for the second quarter were $27.0 million, compared to $570 thousand in the year-ago quarter.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.06 per share on revenue of $24.64 million.
