Durata Therapeutics Q4 Loss Widens

(RTTNews) - Durata Therapeutics, Inc. (DRTX) Friday said fourth-quarter loss widened to $15.64 million from $13.32 million in the same period last year. On a per-share basis, loss narrowed to $0.59 from $0.73 last year.

On average, seven analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.76 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Research and development expenses amounted to $7.12 million, down from $9.44 million last year. General and administrative expenses totaled $5.22 million, up from $3.62 million last year.
