DTE Energy Q4 Profit Tops Estimates; Increases 2015 Operating EPS Guidance

(RTTNews) - DTE Energy (DTE) reported fourth-quarter net income to company of $299 million, compared to $124 million, prior year. Earnings per share from continuing operations was $1.68, compared to $0.70. Operating earnings per share was $1.17, for the quarter.

On average, eight analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $1.05 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenue increased to $3.08 billion from $2.53 billion last year. Analysts expected revenue of $2.30 million for the quarter.

DTE Energy increased 2015 operating EPS guidance to $4.48 to $4.72 from the $4.43 to $4.67 early outlook provided in November. Analysts expect the company to report fiscal 2015 earnings per share of $4.60.
