DTE Energy Q2 Profit Rises; Reiterates 2014 Operating EPS Guidance

(RTTNews) - DTE Energy Company (DTE) reported second-quarter net income to company of $124 million, or $0.70 per share, compared to $105 million, or $0.60 per share, prior year. Operating earnings for the second quarter 2014 were $128 million, or $0.73 per share.

On average, nine analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.76 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Operating revenues increased to $2.70 billion from $2.23 billion, prior year. Analysts expected revenue of $2.30 billion for the quarter. DTE Energy reiterated its 2014 operating earnings guidance of $4.20 to $4.40 per share. Analysts expect the company to report 2014 earnings per share of $4.41.
