DTE Energy Co Q1 Profit Declines 7%

(RTTNews) - DTE Energy Co (DTE) released earnings for first quarter that fell from last year.

The company said its earnings came in at $274 million, or $1.52 per share. This was lower than $294 million, or $1.65 per share, in last year's first quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.50 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 13.8% to $2.57 billion. This was down from $2.98 billion last year.
