DTE Energy Co Bottom Line Retreats 3% In Q3

(RTTNews) - DTE Energy Co (DTE) revealed earnings for third quarter that fell compared to the same period last year.

The company said its earnings declined to $777 million, or $1.48 per share. This was lower than $804 million, or $1.96 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.56 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 10.9% to $3.25 billion. This was up from $2.93 billion last year.
