DST Systems Q3 Profit Advances - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - DST Systems, Inc. (DST) reported an increase in its net profit as well as revenues for the third quarter.

Net profit rose to $100 million or $2.51 per share, from $96.9 million or $2.23 per share last year.

Excluding certain items, the company recorded a profit of $61.2 million or $1.54 per share, compared with $52.8 million or $1.21 per share a year ago.

On average, analysts polled by Thomson-Reuters estimated earnings to be $1.33. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

Total revenues grew to $679.5 million from $651.8 million in the previous year.
