DST Systems Q1 Earnings Up, Meet Street View - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - DST Systems, Inc. (DST), a provider of information processing and software services, Thursday reported a rise in the first-quarter earnings that were in line with estimates.

For the first quarter, net earnings increased to $100.4 million or $2.37 per share from $93.2 million or $2.04 per share a year ago.

Excluding certain items, the company reported earnings of $47.5 million or $1.12 per share, up from $45 million or $0.99 per share a year ago.

On average, four analysts polled by Thomson-Reuters estimated the company's earnings to be $1.12 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

Revenues for the 3-month period increased slightly to $683.8 million from $682.4 million a year ago. Analysts had expected revenues of $502.15 million.
