Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. Bottom Line Advances 13% In Q4

(RTTNews) - Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. (DPS) revealed earnings for its fourth quarter that gained ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $195 million, or $1.02 per share. This was higher than $173 million, or $0.88 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.98 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 4.6% to $1.58 billion. This was up from $1.51 billion last year.
