Dover Buys MS Printing Solutions

(RTTNews) - Dover Corp. (DOV) said Tuesday that it has completed the acquisition of Italy-based MS Printing Solutions S.r.l., a designer, manufacturer  and distributor of innovative digital ink jet printing systems and associated consumables serving the textile and specialty material markets.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.     

MS Printing Solutions will become part of Dover's Printing and Identification segment. It expects 2014 revenue to be about $70 million.

The addition of MS Printing Solutions' leading technology will expand DPI's served markets beyond the fast moving consumer goods and industrial markets into the textile market which is experiencing rapid growth in the utilization of digital printing technology.  The acquisition will also provide synergistic opportunities and allow DPI to share and leverage technology across the segment.
