Social networking tools are being used to recruit, manage people, connect employees with mentors and drive employee learning and knowledge transfer. Employees who've never even met one another can now collaborate and address common challenges. Employers can leverage public social networks, such as LinkedIn and Facebook, to reach new people, and can build internal social networks to promote knowledge exchange and drive productivity. These internal social networks require HR's careful stewardship. This workshop will consider how the evolving world of social networking is impacting your business and address what role HR and people management leaders need to play.
