Diageo Appoints Xerox Executive Kathryn Mikells As CFO

(RTTNews) - Diageo plc (DGE.L, DEO) said that Kathryn Mikells is to be appointed Chief Financial Officer based in London, effective 9 November 2015. Mikells joins from Xerox Corporation, where she is currently CFO, a position she has held since May 2013.

Kathryn has extensive experience, having worked in a number of senior finance roles for global consumer facing and b2b businesses, including United Airlines where she spent the majority of her career and was CFO from 2008-2010.

Earlier today, Xerox announced that Chief Financial Officer Kathryn Mikells is stepping down to pursue another professional opportunity. Mikells will remain with Xerox until October 31, 2015 in order to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities.

Xerox noted that it will immediately commence an external search process. Leslie Varon, vice president of Investor Relations, will serve as interim chief financial officer until a permanent successor is named.
