DHT Holdings To Raise $227.25 Mln In Stock Offering

(RTTNews) - DHT Holdings, Inc. (DHT) said Friday that it has entered into definitive agreements with investors to purchase an aggregate of 30.3 million shares of its common stock at a price of $7.50 per share in a registered direct offering.

Net proceeds to DHT are expected to be about $217.0 million after the payment of placement agent fees.

The offering is expected to close on or about February 5.

DHT said it plans to use the net proceeds to fund the expansion of its fleet, its pending vessel acquisitions and shipbuilding contracts and for other general corporate purposes.
