Annual General Meeting of VIB Vermögen passes a resolution to increase the dividend to EUR 0.51 per share

Neuburg/Danube, June 30, 2016 - The Annual General Meeting of VIB Vermögen AG, a company specialising in the development, acquisition and portfolio management of commercial properties, has today passed a resolution to increase the dividend to EUR 0.51 per share (previous year: EUR 0.48 per share) by a large majority. Based on the share price as of December 31, 2015, this corresponds to a dividend yield of almost 3 per cent. Therefore, the company will be distributing some EUR 13.4 million amongst the 26,308,405 shares with dividend rights.

In his speech Chief Executive Officer, Ludwig Schlosser emphasised the policy of allowing the shareholders to participate in the company's success to an appropriate degree: "In the past year we were able to disproportionately increase our operating result and surpassed our own expectations. We want our shareholders to once again share in our success this year and are delighted that we are able to make this happen by means of a further increase in the dividend. In addition, in 2015 we were able to reach the important milestones of more than one billion in total assets and more than one million square metres of rentable area. Altogether, these successes confirm both the profitability and the sustainability of our business model".

A total of 54,3 per cent of the voting-entitled share capital was represented at this year's Annual General Meeting of VIB Vermögen AG. The members of the Managing Board and the Supervisory Board were both approved by a large majority of the AGM. The mandates of serving Supervisory Board members Franz-Xaver Schmidbauer, Jürgen Wittmann and Rolf Klug were also extended. At the consultative Supervisory Board meeting that followed the Annual General Meeting, Franz-Xaver Schmidbauer was elected Chair of the Supervisory Board and Jürgen Wittmann was elected Deputy Chair of the Supervisory Board. Agreement was granted with a large majority to all other items on the agenda of the Annual General Meeting, including the choice of auditor.

Ludwig Schlosser has been seen off at the Annual General Meeting. He had informed the Supervisory Board of the company at the meeting held on May 30, 2016 that he is choosing not to continue his tenure on the Managing Board at his own request and that he will be leaving the Managing Board as of December 31, 2016. As of January 1, 2017, the Managing Board of VIB will comprise of Martin Pfandzelter as Board Chairman responsible for the Real Estate division and Holger Pilgenröther responsible for the Finance division.
