Hamburg, 25th August 2016 - The stockholders of Varengold Bank AG (WKN
547930) approved all agenda items of the ordinary general meeting yesterday
in Hamburg. This included granting the discharge of the Board of Managing
Directors and the Supervisory Board members for the fiscal year 2015 with a
clear majority, as well as the selection of the auditing firm
PricewaterhouseCooper Aktiengesellschaft as auditor for the fiscal year
2016. In addition, a new authorised capital for 2016 was passed with a
majority of 99.87%.
Furthermore, the candidates Dr. Karl-Heinz Lemnitzer and Alexander Koerner were elected to members of the Supervisory Board for a term of almost 3 years. In its yesterday's constitutive Supervisory Board meeting, the Supervisory Board has also elected among its members Mr. Lemnitzer as Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Mr. Murphy as his deputy.
