DGAP-News: Trade of Sumo Resources Plc shares on Euronext - 16 August 2016
In recent weeks the number of trades of the shares has declined compared to previous months. This seems to be mainly caused by an excess of market asks compared to bids which eventually triggers the safety mechanism provided by Euronext for shares on this segment. Trade in the shares is thus halted for the day when this happens and the limits of the price range in which the shares can trade are adjusted downwards.
The excess of asks compared to bids is possibly caused by either seasonal factors like investors being away in the summer time or some opportunistic attempt by market makers to lower the price and to acquire more shares at a lower price. It is therefore possible that investors will experience some volatility in the share price until the demand and supply is more balanced.
Regardless of the above we can assure investors that the business is stable and developing at a good pace even though it may not be valued correctly by the market at times. trades under the symbol MLSUM.
