ROK Stars announce ABK Beer wins 2 Gold Medals at the European Beer Star Awards 2017

ROK Stars PLC, the consumer products company co-founded by U.S. billionaire John Paul DeJoria and U.K. entrepreneur Jonathan Kendrick, has announced its ABK Bavarian Beer, part of ROK Drinks, has won a further 2 Gold Medals and a Bronze Medal at the highly prestigious European Beer Star Awards 2017.

The European Beer Star Awards is widely regarded as the most important blind-tasting beer competition in the world involving an expert jury sampling more than 2,100 beers from 46 countries.

ABK was awarded a Gold Medal for its Leichtes Helles beer, a Gold Medal for its Buronator beer and a Bronze Medal for its Kellerbier.

ROK Stars acquired the majority interest in the historic 700 year old AktienBrauerei Kaufbeuren, Bavaria in May 2013 and has since re-designed and re-packaged a range of beers for international export under the brand 'ABK Beer - Since 1308'.
