msg life awarded contract by DEVK Versicherungen

Introduction of msg.LF Product, the new JEE-based actuarial product component of the standard software msg.Life Factory

(Leinfelden-Echterdingen, 10 December 2015) - msg life ag has been awarded a contract by DEVK Versicherungen (DEVK, Cologne) to introduce msg.LF Product (msg.LP), the new msg.Life Factory JEE mathematics. This actuarial product component will cover the new fund-linked products of DEVK in particular. Work on the switch to LF JEE is due to start in 2016. The new product component msg.LP is part of the policy management system msg.Life Factory, the leading core product from msg life. As a long-standing customer, DEVK has been using msg.Life Factory as its central life platform since early 2013.

Over the past few months, msg life has developed the component msg.LP on the basis of Java JEE in service-oriented architecture (SOA) in the same way as it has all of the other components of msg.Life Factory that are currently being used by numerous customers on the basis of Java JEE. With the release of msg.LP, all of msg.Life Factory will now be available to new and existing customers as a purely JEE-based system.

The range of services provided by msg.LP is leading on the markets of the German-speaking countries and even meets international requirements. In combination with msg.Life Factory, the most cutting-edge policy management system for life insurers in Europe, with the latest tools and methods msg.LP delivers levels of flexibility and efficiency that are unrivalled on the life insurance market.

msg life expects to attract more customers to msg.LP in the very near future. The currently promising sales pipeline for msg.Life Factory is partly due to the fact that with msg.LP, potential customers can adapt their product designs to the substantial challenges of the persistently low-interest phase more quickly and with more flexibility.
