Deutsche Industrie REIT-AG acquires property in Wismar

Rostock, 02 August 2018 - Deutsche Industrie REIT-AG (ISIN DE000A2G9LL1) has acquired a production and logistics property in Wismar (Mecklenburg-West Pomerania).

The Hanseatic city of Wismar is one of the most important port and shipyard locations on the German Baltic Sea. The property is located directly on the western harbour of Wismar, in the most important commercial area for the maritime industry, not far from the MV shipyard. The main tenants are a supplier to the shipyard industry and a yachting yard, along with several smaller tenants. The weighted average remaining term of all leases is 4.2 years. With rental space of almost 12,000 sqm an annualised rental income (including income from a photovoltaic system) of approx. EUR 339,000 is achieved. The purchase price of EUR 3.3 million corresponds to a net initial yield of 10.3%.

Considering the latest transactions, Deutsche Industrie REIT-AG has a total portfolio of 27 properties with an area of approx. 587,000 sqm and an annualised total rent of approx. EUR 16.5 million.
