Constantin Medien AG: Strategy passed for the realignment of Constantin Medien Group - to be presented for decision to the General Shareholders' Meeting on November 9/10, 2016

Ismaning, September 28, 2016 - The Management Board of Constantin Medien AG with the approval of the Supervisory Board today resolved to strategically realign the Constantin Medien Group and to present this decision to the General Shareholders' Meeting on November 9/10, 2016 for approval.

The proposed new strategy recommends focusing the Constantin Medien Group on the Sports Segment as well as on the Sports- and Event-Marketing Segment, to reduce, where possible, the administration costs through dissolution of existing multiple structures and to achieve a sustainable improvement in the financing structure. In this context, also the disposal of the Film Segment is to be taken into account.

The enforcement of this change in strategy may possibly require Constantin Medien AG to exercise its rights as a majority shareholder in Highlight Communications AG. This in turn presupposes the successful outcome of the current disputes with Stella Finanz AG.
