Dell Positioned as a "Leader” in Two Magic Quadrant Reports: Desktop Outsourcing and Data Center Outsourcing

Dell has been positioned as a "Leader” by Gartner, Inc. in two of its key 2011 Magic Quadrant Reports: "Magic Quadrant for Desktop Outsourcing, North America,”* and "Magic Quadrant for Data Center Outsourcing and Infrastructure Utility Services, North America.”** These reports were compiled using extensive research and customer feedback, and are designed to help potential customers evaluate service providers.

As part of the Magic Quadrant evaluation process, Gartner evaluates service providers on their ability to execute (including sales execution/pricing, operations, track record and overall viability) and completeness of vision (including product strategy, business model, market understanding and innovation). Using the Magic Quadrant approach, Gartner places providers in one of four categories.
