Dealnet Announces 35% Increase in First Quarter Originations

TORONTO, April 9, 2019 /CNW/ - Dealnet Capital Corp. ("Dealnet" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: DLS) announced today that organic originations of financial contracts for the quarter ended March 31, 2019 were $12.5 million (Q1 2018 - $9.3 million; Q4 2018 - $14.0 million).  This represents an increase of 35% over the first quarter of 2018.  The seasonal decline from the fourth quarter of 2018 was not as significant as experienced in the prior year.  The first quarter 2019 originations are of a higher credit quality and will generate a higher weighted average yield than the prior year and continue the strong origination quality exhibited in the fourth quarter of 2018.
