D'Amore Healthcare Lending A Hand To Battle The Opioid Crisis After Natural Disaster
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif., Jan. 3, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Committed to life changing, high-quality mental health and addiction treatment, D'Amore Healthcare, in partnership with Northbound Treatment Services has offered two separate substance abuse treatment scholarships to hurricane Harvey victims. Hurricane Harvey's floodwaters have taken a toll on health-care facilities in southeast Texas, including the area's substance abuse treatment centers. In the weeks following Hurricane Harvey's destruction D'Amore Healthcare welcomed Houston resident and military veteran, 32 and a Houston-native mother, 50 to sunny, southern California for their respective treatment episodes. Through these scholarships, the two recipients will have the opportunity to develop the tools they need to thrive during and after the initial recovery process.
Designed to give recipients the highest level of care, the two scholarships comprise of dual-diagnosis substance abuse addiction treatment with a range of therapeutic services.
