Courtney Battison of Battison Honda and Horse, Xtra Little Balou, Place in Las Vegas Reining Event

OKLAHOMA CITY, Sept. 29, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Courtney Battison of Battison Honda and her horse Xtra Little Balou took 3rd place in one of the world's leading National Reining Horse Association events: the 2018 High Roller Reining Classic in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This event ran from Sept. 10 to 16 of this year and 122 horse and rider pairs entered the NRHA Derby Non Pro competition. Battison and Xtra Little Balou were able to take the number three spot with a score of 218.00. This event consisted of horses ranging in age from four to six years old and riders from many ages and nationalities.

The High Roller Reining Classic was held at the Las Vegas premier equine facility at the South Point Hotel and Equestrian Center, which includes a 4,600-seat main arena, the Priefert Pavilion with two arenas and 1,200 climate-controlled horse stalls.
