    MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 8, 2005--Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ: CMTL) announced today that its Tempe, Arizona-based subsidiary, Comtech EF Data Corp., received a $1 million order for satellite modems from Satcom Resources, a global supplier of satellite communications equipment and network solutions. Included in the order are the CDM-570 and CDM-600 series modems.
    The CDM-570 Satellite Modem product line will be deployed by Satcom Resources in both L-Band and 70/140 MHz installations. The optional IP Module and powerful 2nd Generation Turbo Product Coding will expand the functionality of these modems to provide additional bandwidth efficiencies. The high performance CDM-600 family of modems with an array of forward error correction and modulation will round out the Comtech solution for Satcom Resources.
