Coeur Mining Q1 Silver, Gold Proudction Declines, Reaffirms FY16 Proudction View

(RTTNews) - Coeur Mining Inc. (CDE, CDM.TO) Thursday said its first quarter silver production declined to 933 thousand ounces from 1.354 million ounces last year. Silver equivalent production was 1.813 million ounces, compared to 2.284 million ounces in the prior year. Gold production also was slightly down to 14.668 ounces from 15.495 million ounces a year ago.

The company has maintained its full year 2016 production outlook of 5.7 to 6 million silver ounces, up 5 to 10 percent from the prior year. Total silver production is expected to be in a range of 14.455 to 15.8 million ounces, gold production of 320 million to 347 million ounces and silver equivalent of 33.655 million to 36.62 million ounces.
