Coach Q2 Adj. EPS Tops View - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Coach, Inc. (COH) posted second-quarter net income of $183.5 million or $0.66 per share, compared to $297.4 million or $1.06 per share in the comparable quarter last year.

Excluding certain items, earnings per share for the latest second quarter were $0.72, down from $1.06 last year. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.66 per share. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

Net sales decreased 14 percent to $1.22 billion, from $1.42 billion last year. On a constant currency basis sales declined 12% for the quarter.
