CLARCOR Q4 Profit Declines; Provides 2014 Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Air filter maker CLARCOR Inc. (CLC) Wednesday reported fourth-quarter profit of $32.9 million or $0.65 per share, down from $36.3 million or $0.72 per share last year.

On average, six analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.70 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Net sales rose to $297.8 million from $292.9 million reported a year earlier. Analysts expected sales of $304.09 million.

Looking ahead, the company expects 2014 consolidated earnings per share—inclusive of anticipated results from the GE Air Filtration and Bekaert Advanced Filtration acquisitions—to be in range of $2.55 to $2.70. Consolidated net sales are estimated between $1.410 billion and $1.470 billion. Analysts currently expect earnings of $2.73 per share on revenues of 1.22 billion in 2014.
