Citrix Systems Inc Bottom Line Advances 44% In Q4

(RTTNews) - Citrix Systems Inc (CTXS) revealed earnings for its fourth quarter that gained ground compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $258.65 million, or $1.66 per share. This was up from $179.86 million, or $1.10 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.19 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 6.3% to $904.76 million. This was up from $851.48 million last year.
