CI Financial reports assets under management for August 2018

TORONTO, Sept. 4, 2018 /CNW/ - CI Financial Corp. ("CI") today reported preliminary assets under management at August 31, 2018 of $138.4 billion and total assets of $182.9 billion.

Assets under management grew by $17.9 billion or 14.9% year over year, and declined 0.3% in the month of August. Total assets gained $22.1 billion or 13.7% for the 12-month period, and declined 0.1% in the month of August.

CI's average assets under management for the quarter-to-date were $138.8 billion, versus $139.5 billion for the second quarter of 2018. Average assets under management for the year-to-date were $140.2 billion, a gain of $13.9 billion or 11.0% from the average for fiscal 2017.

CI reported assets under advisement at Assante Wealth Management (Canada) Ltd. and Stonegate Private Counsel of $44.5 billion at August 31, 2018, representing an increase of $4.2 billion or 10.4% year over year.
