ChipMOS Tech. June Revenue Up - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Taiwan-based semi conductor company ChipMOS Technologies (Bermuda) LTD. (IMOS) posted revenue of NT$1.72 billion or $57.4 million in June 2013, up by 5.5% from NT$1.63 billion, or $54.4 million in the previous year.

On a quarterly basis, revenue for the second quarter of 2013 was NT$4.94 billion or $164.9 million, an increase of 2.3% from the same period in 2012. Revenue for the second quarter of 2013 is in-line with the company's target that revenue was expected to increase by about 10% - 14%, as compared to the first quarter of 2013.

Looking ahead, the firm sees gross margin on a consolidated basis for the second quarter of 2013 to be nearly 15.5%, as compared with guidance of about 14% - 18%.
