China Green Agriculture Q3 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - China Green Agriculture Inc. (CGA) reported that third-quarter net income increased to $9.9 million or $0.29 per share from $7.2 million or $0.23 per share in the prior-year quarter.

Net sales for the quarter grew 13.1 percent to $79.5 million from $70.4 million in the same quarter last year. The company said the increase was principally due to an increase in Jinong's and Gufeng's net sales.

Looking ahead to the fourth quarter, the company expects earnings in a range of $0.17 to $ 0.22 per share, on projected net sales between $70 million and $84 million.

For fiscal 2015, the company narrowed earnings guidance to a range of $0.81 to $ 0.87 per share from the prior forecast in the range of $0.74 to $0.99 per share, while maintaining annual net sales outlook between $255 million and $269 million.
