Chico's FAS Urges Shareholders To Vote "FOR" Board's Director Nominees

(RTTNews) - Chico's FAS, Inc. (CHS), a specialty retailer of women's apparel, in a letter on Friday, urged shareholders to vote "FOR" board's director nominees on the white proxy card.

The company said it reviews wide-spread industry analyst support for new CEO and progress being made on new strategic plan.

In connection with its Annual Meeting of Shareholders to be held on July 21, the company mailed a letter to shareholders and posted a video featuring Shelley Broader, the Company's Chief Executive and President, on the Company's website.

In the video, Broader discusses the progress the Company is making and the unanimous recommendation of the Chico's FAS Board of Directors to vote for the Board's four nominees - Shelley Broader, Bonnie Brooks, Janice Fields and William "Bill" Simon.
