Chicago Center for Dermatology & Aesthetic Medicine Prepares for Grand Opening

CHICAGO, Jan. 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Drs. Faiyaaz Kalimullah and Kevin Cavanaugh are announcing the grand opening of their Chicago dermatology practice, the Center for Dermatology & Aesthetic Medicine (CDAM), in River North on January 25th, 2017. As a dermatology practice focusing on a holistic approach to skin wellness, CDAM sets itself apart from traditional dermatology practices.  Dr. Kalimullah and Dr. Cavanaugh treat their patients following a philosophy that focuses on skincare and lifestyle in order to achieve the best results possible. In addition to a full range of cosmetic services, Drs. Kalimullah and Cavanaugh have broad experience in pediatric, medical, and surgical dermatology.

A Chicago native, Dr. Kalimullah earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago. He then went on to Rush Medical College to receive his medical degree, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed an internship in internal medicine at the University of Chicago, followed by a dermatology residency at the University of Arizona Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. 

Board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology, Dr. Kalimullah has extensive experience in cosmetic dermatology. He is a clinical trainer and speaker for Allergan, the makers of BOTOX® cosmetic and JUVEDERM®.

Dr. Cavanaugh graduated magna cum laude from Boston College. He then went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Minnesota, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. His post-graduate training was completed as an internal medicine resident at the University of Chicago.

He completed a dermatology residency at the University of Arizona Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Cavanaugh is also a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and holds double board-certification in internal medicine and dermatology.
