Chesapeake Lodging Trust Q2 FFO Rises

(RTTNews) - Chesapeake Lodging Trust (CHSP), Monday reported second-quarter funds from operations or FFO of $25.4 million or $0.53 per share, compared to $15.7 million or $0.49 per share last year.

Net income available to common shareholders was $14.6 million or $0.30 per share, compared to $9.1 million or $0.28 per share last year.

Total revenues for the quarter rose to $115.6 million from $67.0 million last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.32 per share on revenues of $111.71 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

The company also boosted its third-quarter dividend by 8.3 percent to $0.26 per share.
