Centillium Communications Appoints Semiconductor Industry Veteran as S

    FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 21, 2005--Centillium Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq:CTLM), a leading provider of broadband access solutions, today announced the appointment of Jitesh Vadhia as Senior Vice President and General Manager.

    Vadhia joins the company with more than 20 years of international experience in the semiconductor industry. Prior to joining Centillium, he was Senior Vice President and General Manager in the Network Access business unit at Zarlink Semiconductor Corporation and Product Line Director in the Analog Systems business unit at National Semiconductor Corporation. Vadhia also held various marketing roles at National Semiconductor Corporation. Previously, he was a Senior Design Engineer at Plessey Communications. Mr. Vadhia received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of London and his Master of Science degree in Electro Optics and Laser Technology from the University of Essex in England.
